Magical Girl

We forget about the journey of magical girls and here is the space in which I explore everything related to kawaii, harajuku, anime, and everything pink.

Battle Mage - Magical Girl

Inspired by my love of Anime Magical Girls, this facet of my writing and style represents my Kawaii (Japanese for “Cute”) lifestyle. I admire Ultra Femme aesthetics, the color pink, and magic. From Sailor Moon to Sanrio this part of me is 100% invested in being Kawaii and Fierce.

Kawaii Street: Katsucon Day One

“My Diamond”

“My Diamond”

So, my first Katsucon outfit is also the one I actually haven’t posted outside of Facebook, but it doesn’t make it less kawaii. So, let us look through the process and fun of creating this casual kawaii look for my first day at Katsucon.

 Casually Kawaii:

I bought this top cheap, and on sale at Ross, I just liked the adorable food motifs, cause let’s face it I’m not thick for nothing. I love food, and kawaii food things even more. Even if my allergies literally stop me from eating 2/3 of the food pyramid. I started the day with just the Faux Fur and button and donut clips all from Un-Re designs. Hoping to model off some kawaii accessories from my favorite shop.

This casual kawaii comfort was meant to be an easy opener for my first day at Katsucon, BUT then I swirled by the Pawstar Vendor. I went looking for ears and a tail to match the coat but to my chagrin I found myself leaving with not one but 2 sets of pink ears and a fluffy pink tail. I added the headband and later the tail to this casual coord. Which was bottomed off the Glitter Docs for comfort and ease? I question it cause I ended up being tired and my feet dead.

 Saying sayonara to black eyeliner:

Please notes my make-up was extremely subtle but pink, but after the Dollfille Panel I really went wild, got sexy and changed up my makeup presentations. Anywho, I wore the usual Fenty Beauty, and Juvia’s Place Pallete topped with a Milani lip color. The big difference is I actually wore the pink translucent frames. What look isn’t complete without near blindness behind cute frames.

“ I was nervous like shit! I was like do I ask the question burning in my mind about black people being represented as living Dolls or is that too aggressive as a question.”
